I love Mother's friends, really. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate talking to them more, I have more fun around them, & they don't have to behave themselves around me. Hah. Lisa picked me up one afternoon & we met Mother & some friends of hers, including the ever-awesome Laura, at Meloni's in town for lunch. I had fun. I adore Laura. I'd like to grow up to be her. Haha. Saturday after the underwear party, Brandon & I saw The X-Files movie, which we both loved despite popular opinion. Terra loved it, too, & actually saw it Friday night, & that's why she wasn't at the party, but she did text me in all caps afterward information she thought I needed to know that would only make me more excited. Meanwhile, Meri & AJ went to Long John Silver, which they'd been talking about all Friday night, & saw Step Brothers, while Nolan was in the mountains with ...

I don't when the last time I felt this good was. I've been struggling on where I stand with some of my friends, but the more I think about last night, the more I think it could've been THE highlight of the summer & the best idea we ever had. So much came out of it - good, fun, serious, revealing, everything.

It was, technically, Stephanie's idea last summer. She joked that we should have an "underwear party", which is really self-explanatory - everyone just comes in ...

So, a while ago, Stephen came over for a bit to hang out & go with Brandon to auditions for their musical. Insert drama & ridiculousness. Three years ago, when I was sixteen & he was much less of an ass, Steve kissed me. Steve has since moved on, had girlfriends, & crushed on & messed around with various friends of mine. And we all knew it was happening. The latest victim of Steve's crushing, at the time, at least, was Meri, & she was put off because of his notorious lying ...

Meri's 18th birthday is today, finally. The poor girl is the youngest, so either she gets left out of some of our ridiculous plans or we have to wait for her. She was so excited to finally be legal haha. I messaged her right at midnight, too, to wish her a happy birthday.

The next big one is Nolan's 21st in November, & then gradually Meri will either get left out of the bar scene, or she'll get him to buy her alcohol.
