Spent years trying to track down sheet music of some sort for Days Of The Phoenix with no luck. Whenever my search turned up nothing my idea would sort of drift away...

Until my friend Luda got an apprenticeship at Monkey Wrench in Rosa. Then I became determined. I searched again and after yet another round of disappointment I decided to take matters into my own hands.

After months of doctor visits, blood tests, sickness, unexplained crap they've discovered I've got stage 2 pre-cancerous cells.

It's good they discovered it relatively early on. It set in relatively quickly, seeing as they weren't there 7 months ago, but I guess it is what it is.

Not too worried because I know that there's not much I can do, except maintain a positive outlook and trust in the fact that no matter what I'll be okay.

Sort of scary, but ...

Ron Asheton, the influential guitarist for legendary punk band the Stooges, was found dead early this morning at his home in Ann Arbor, police said.

Ann Arbor Police Sgt. Brad Hill said the department received a call around midnight with a request to check on Asheton, 60, because the unidentified caller said he had not heard from the guitarist in a few days. Police went to his home and found him deceased.

The death is still under investigation, but foul play is not ...
