All year long I was thinking that I wasnít in touch with newer music as I used to be and was originally going to skip doing a list like this. However, that isnít true at all because while Iím not as into music as I was in high school or when I was a staff writer for Scene Point Blank, there were a ton of great records I got to listen to this year so Iím going to make a list anyway. One thing I am not doing this time is ranking albums because every time I decided on one, I changed my mind seconds
I posted this on my tumblr a few weeks ago but I figured that I would share it here as well. Just a few notes first; 1. I want to avoid futile genre debates about what is punk and what isn't. 2. It's where I do most of my blogging now and I'm basically just using this post as self promotion, haha.

My parents were pretty quick to look for a new dog after our old one passed away in October. We went to this one place in Thurmont to look for a few and we got attached to this one pictured below. She's an 8 week old Australian Shepherd and my parents picked her up yesterday. Too bad I'm at college right now and won't get to see her for a few months. I'm excited to go home already!
