i feel like even though i joined towards the beginning of the du era, i've been here forEVER.

maybe it's just because since i've been here for a while, i'm noticing new people more...? so it just seems like there are all these new people, when really, people have been joining all along and i just haven't noticed...?

but i can still think of people who were here when i first got here, and now it's like they've fallen off the face of the earth.

i had long ago noticed hot topic's tendancy to capitalize on current youth subcultures by manufacturing and selling pre-packaged "goth" makeup and studded belts in malls across the country, but the recent addition of their new line of "cupcake cult" accessories and clothing is sort of like the icing on the cupcake.

so...i don't know how it happened, but i noticed last weekend that my favorite pair of jeans, EVER have a tear in them. in the middle of the fabric, not on a seam. i have no idea how it happened...it's like on the inside my right thigh...like i said, i have no idea how it happened...believe me, i've thought about it. so i resolved to go and buy the exact same pair of jeans to replace them. but i can't throw away my old pair...they're so comfy and worn and stuff....if the rip was on the knee or something, ...
