I'm just so in shock. On Monday she and her husband were looking at newbaby's (that's what we all code named him/her instead of using 'it.' that still makes me smile) heartbeat. She sent me a picture of my alien-esque 9 week old nephew or niece on Tuesday letting me know newbaby was healthy and the pregnancy should go okay, although Joan (my sister) needed to take it easy because of some spotting.

She was in a meeting at work today and knew something was wrong. She checked things ...

I've done that before with no problem because my Tuesdays are ridiculously long and without break. Today, though, I started feeling funny during O Chem Lab, which is 5:30 to 9:20. I felt so bad for my partner because I just started shutting down little by little. I was actually slurring my words and mixing up syllables by the time it ended. She told me to leave and that she would clean my hood and take care of everything. What an awesome chick.

Both of my heels are cracked open and seeping blood, so I've been putting vaseline on them right before bed and sleeping with socks on, which I hate doing. This morning, about three hours before I had planned to get up, my sister came and asked me to move my car because I was blocking her and her husband from getting out of the driveway. Oops.
