Three weeks ago, my Aunt Betsy died from a liver transplant gone wrong. UVA screwed the pooch on that one. They folded the liver upon itself and died due to lack of bloodflow. So, the hospital decided to give her a new one - this one was taken from an IV drug user and was INFESTED with Hep C. She suffered and it was horrible. Two days after she died, my sister in law gave birth to a little girl. Zoe Isabella. Zoe was a premie, but the docs said she was good to go home and even last week was thriving! ...

This sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. My job is great fun (makeup artist) and my life is always busy and there are always random adventures, so I think I'm gonna send in a video!

We were under tornado warnings all day today...they touched down in Suffolk and Portsmouth.

The stroms were pretty bad and my ex's boss' house was completely destroyed. Weird weather...we don't generally have that kind of thing here. Hurricanes yes, tornados - not so much.

My yard is pretty much a lake at this point and all of the plants that my housemate planted this weekend are...well if not gone, then nearly anyway.

My cancer scare turned out to be something else - it may require surgery in the future, but my doc seems to believe getting preggers will fix it...yeah, I'm not about that - thankfully as just a short time later my grandmother passed away...from cancer...it is odd how that disease has demolished the entire female line of my family...

Anyway, my birthday passed with a fantastic party, tattoos for pressies and now, I have a new computer...a gift from my brother...shockingly.
