Surreal Travesty

I, really and truly, never update the blog on here. That's unfortunate, but quite predictable considering my usual mantra. Let's face it: every blog I've ever had always tends to have sporadic updates.

I should probably try and change that, at least on here. I'm practically NEVER on this site, and when I am, I just read random stuff, make sure the band hasn't said anything new since the last time I looked, and then leave without saying anything.

My entire family has had the flu.... except me. Well, until yesterday, anyway. I got so dehydrated because of it that I ended up going to the hospital to get an IV and 3 bags of fluid.

To put it simply, it wasn't fun.

Anyway.... what a splendid way to spend the FIRST DAY of your Christmas Vacation, right? Ugh. If you get the flu like I had, I pity you. Honestly. It's. Not. Fun.

In other news, I feel incredibly guilty because I have not been here in.... ...

Okay, so I'm one of those people that is just really weird when it comes to Christmas.

For most of December, I'll be at the point where I'll get so tired of Christmas songs that if I hear another one, I'll want to scream. I'll boycott everything red and green in every way possible, and I'm just pretty much acting like it's any other day and it's not even remotely close to Christmas.

Then the last day of school before Christmas vacation will come along, and I'll get ...

This week has been totally crazy, and I just want to "talk" about it right now in a way where people can read it, but nobody that I know personally is going to see it. You know what I mean? I don't know, sometimes I just don't want feedback from people I personally know. Oh well, I'm weird like that.
