  1. I wish I was a web browser so I could delete my history.

It would be so convenient. Just to get rid of the times in your life you don't want following you forever.

I did an awful thing a few years ago. I gave in to the advances of one of my good friend's (very) recent ex. I regret it. We were only together for about a month, but it cost me my friendship with his ex girlfriend among others, and gained me a bad name. After two years of not speaking to either of them, I got over it, and all of a sudden, she did too. Now we're all on speaking ...

  2. AFI themed blog post (part one)

by , 03-28-10 at 02:41 PM (When it's time to party we will party hard)
This past seven months have been kind of amazing for me. In the past seven months, I have seen AFI four times. Before that, I had seen them three times, but that had been over a span of three years. Seeing AFI that many times in that short of a span of time is kind of a big deal for me. I kind of wanted to make a blog post about these past four shows, and just share a couple of pictures from the fun times. This is actually mostly for me, because I don't want to forget how AWESOME a time I've had ...

So, for those of you who don't know already, I've been working on an album series titled 'Cristo'. It's planned to have five different volumes, each with 11 or more tracks. The series is sort of a concept album, but not really. It's all based on events that have happened in my life. "But Jake, you're only 16, you little whipper-snapper! Surely your life is completely boring and uneventful!" Yes, old folks, this is true. I am only 16 (17 in April!). I'm writing the songs as I observe things ...

  4. Reading Festival

Anyone going this year? does anyone care anymore?

The rose tinted glasses are finally off. I've done this festival 8 years running now, and for the last couple the enjoyment factor that gripped me in my earlier years had all but vanished.

Reading Festival, a 3 day music festival, filled with all manor of bands on several different stages throughout the bank holiday weekend in August, and once you are done with the music each day, just carry on the party in the campsite ...

  5. We're all now in Dying Days (Oh the temptation...) Advise is totally welcome!

So there will be 2 (maybe 3) things going on in this blog. Topics: The Dying Days, how the more down I get the more drugs seem like a good idea.

Ok so 1. The Dying Days.
I'm writing a book (novel if you will) and I believe I'm going to call it "The Dying Days". (Brownie points if you get it. [which you should because you are on the DF boards...]) It's got a crazy plot that's really strange but it has to do with backwards politics and rising up against them to overcome ...
