After 5 hours of watching formula 1 racing, with a mental 2nd half to the race and my adrenaline going through the roof by the end, i made the somewhat rash decision to set up a twitter account. Something I was adamant i wouldn't do, but have now caved. Yeah, i'm a hypocrite, what ya gonna do.

the title sums it up. can everyone please agree to stop using "lol"? seriously. regardless of my personal feelings of contempt for this internet trend (i would say "meme" but i don't like that word), it has become something more than just a lame expression.
look anywhere on the internet and people type "lol" before, during, and after everything they say. i am not against expressing laughter through writing, but i am against the nonsensical applications
