Things to worry about

1. My health.
After yesterdays volleyball training I nearly fainted, my senses started to fuck up and I got scared. I have to sit out parts of training because I don't have enough energy to do them, for example I can only do half of the run to warm up. I'm going to have to start eating red meat again, which sucks. My coach said it'd only have to be once a week.
I really don't want to have to give up being a vegeterian but I don't want to end up being a vegetable. So, one serve of organic beef a week it is if next term my grades suffer.
2. My thumb.
This morning, the second last volleyball training session of the season I've screwed up my thumb like I did last year. It feels like I've jarred it quite badly and probably have bone bruising again. Nothing can be done about it except rest which I am not going to do until the season is over.
3. Future.
Uni applications close in three weeks and I don't even know if I want to do science anymore. The science assignments we've had this term suck, it's made me dislike chemistry (one of my favourite subjects) and despise biology.
I had myself set on going to a uni in a city up from where I am (Brisbane), which is an hour away from here buuuuut yesterday I got an offer from my coach.
He said that our volleyball team this year has changed his perception on the game and has inspired him to go back into volleyball as a full time occupation (he used to compete for Australia, he currently does landscaping). The local university has hired him to co-ordinate their volleyball starting next term, and my coach has invited me to be in the regional team for that university which is a huge honour.
To stay on the Gold Coast or to try my luck in Brisbane?
Brisbane also has a fantastic volleyball course, but it won't be with my coach whom I've had for the last 3 years and I'm not gaurenteed a spot.
4. Present for coach.
Our team (and by our team I mean me) bought our coach a shirt and got it embroided with a volleyball and "Open 2009" wrapped around the bottom. However, I wanted to do something personal for him, something that he can keep.
He writes poetry and songs, so I figured I could organise some of my poems in a document, print them out and get them bound to give to him. I'm not sure if I will though because those poems are quite personal.
5. Tests.
It's test week, they suck.
6. Formal dress.
Where the hell am I going to get one? I can't find something I like enough, they all look the same. I kind of want to go in a tux but Mum'd kill me.
7. Bridging course
I don't do the maths required to get into most of the uni courses I want to do so I have to go to a type of "summer school" to get one done. One of these summer schools starts in the middle of schoolies week (which I plan to be drunk all the time and become nocturnal) and it opperates out of Brisbane with classes starting at 8:30 in the morning for three days of schoolies week. I'd have to be at the train station by 6:30am. Fuck no. I need to sort out what I want to do.
Most of these are volleyball orientated. Go figure.
I don't even know what go figure means.
Excuse typos.
