Død Snø (Dead Snow)

It was a recent thread that sparked my curiosity. In it was posted the movie poster of Dead Snow, which was, to say the least, interesting. The movie plot had something I could not quite grasp: Nazi Zombies?? As a staunch admirer of these bloody yet pityful creatures we usually refer to as "The undead", this movie was something I could not miss.

The trailer in youtube followed the movie poster, and the urge to see the movie kept going in-crescendo.

Finally, imdb user reviews that begin with "My high expectations were met", "Excellent, innovative, gruesome and funny" or "Best zombie movie I've seen for quite a while" were the last straw. I HAD TO SEE THIS.

And I wasn't disappointed at all. I didn't expect a work of art, just zombies unleashing hell and killing anyone who stood up to them, gutting them, literally breaking their heads or dismembering them. It also turned out to have a slightly touch of comedy (I actually cried of laughter in a couple of scenes).

Last but not least, I must say that the zombies make-up was excellent.

Depending on what you expect of this movie, you may or may not be let down by it.

PS. Behold, Colonel Herzog and his boys.

Love,
Jose C.

I literally just watched this like a week ago.

I love how it starts off as a pretty creepy movie, then becomes so over-the-top like Army of Darkness.

My kid saw this and has been trying to get me to watch it (I think it's online on Netflix) and I keep forgetting... thanks for the reminder.

I didn't know the movie was online! Would've saved me the time to look for it. Anyway, follow your kid's advice, you will not regret it!
