I would rather be alone at work, every single one of my clients awake and in a frenzy then have my family look at me that way again.
I would rather be punched, bitten, kicked, and spit on then to see my grandmother lying in bed like that again. Then to see her eyes with that dullness in them again.
I would rather be dragged from my work in handcuffs in broad daylight and labeled an ABUSER and it all be a lie then to sit in that dark room for hours and watch her waste away, to see her reaching for nothing in the dark again.
I would rather give back every cent she has ever earned, that I have ever earned to the great karmic forces then have her this way.
I would rather give up my every wet dream then relieve the nightmare I had last night, again.
