Less than 10 mins from where I live there is this decent sized flea-market. It finally opened up about two weeks ago from all this nice weather we have been getting here in PA. My boyfriend and I usually go just to have fun and see what we can find. We've been on a VHS kick for the past couple weeks now and we get them anywhere from a quarter to 75 cents. We've got a good collection going! I've also been picking up bits and bob pieces of jewelry. My love for amethyst has rekindled and I've found some pretty good pieces and the most I paid was $2 for raw amethyst hook earrings - which to me is a steal! Every once in awhile you'll find people that just have a free pile or box of goodies. My boyfriend was rummaging through a box and at the bottom we discovered an old Parker Brothers Ouija board. I have always wanted to try one out, never really looked into owning one. I was joking with the guy and asked if he had ever used it and why he was giving it away for free but he claims to have never touched it and that he can't promise any "attachments" haha. There's an eerie mysteriousness to it but I think that's what draws me in. I remember back when I was younger my best friend and I decided to make one but we didn't get any results we were looking for. I didn't know much about them at the time either. I have always been fascinated with the paranormal so I think this will bring some interesting experiences! Another bargain I got was this adorable Sailor Moon-esque dress. They were asking $2 for it but there are a few minor stains on it and I got it for a buck! First time I haggled and felt pretty comfortable doing it. This has just been the second weekend I'm sure there will be plenty of other awesome finds. If you have never been to a flea market, garage or yard sale I highly recommend it!! There's a bunch of hidden gems out there.
