and by "free" i obviously mean i've had a lot of time to procrastinate.
anyway, i had a revelation! with recently getting a job for the summer, i realized i can finally get the tattoo for my sister.
or, i'll at least have the money to comfortably be able to get one whenever possible.
i've had quite a few ideas for it when i decided i wanted to get one for her.
1. my first idea was to get one of her drawings tattooed, possibly with her initials or a little saying.
2. second, and longest glued into my brain, was my crash love inspired one. get the heart with crash in it, and then either in the heart too or on the ooutside have "LOVE" but the upside down "3407". my mom found that idea a bit morbid, and i dont blame her, but i was so ...i dont even know a word to describe how i felt when i found out afi's next album was titled "crash love." it just kinda hit home for me.
3. when i realized that was more a remembrance for the crash and not my sister herself, i figured "remembered forever" from tiger army would be a perfect tattoo. we both loved tiger army. our first warped tour together(her first and last one) we saw them and she was front row up against the barricade and it was a great show.

so, i've decided on "remembered forever," i'm just not sure where to put it. i'd love to have it across both my wrists, but i feel both words might be too long for my wrist? I'd like to see this one, too. So i dont think i'd like it on the back of my shoulder or something. i guess across my collar bone would work but im not sure if that would be appropriate placement for it.
i want it to be perfect. its been over 3 years since she died and since my family isnt in the best situation financially, i havent been able to visit the crash site often or the cemetery where another memorial is, and all of her close friends who could bare getting tattoos got them years ago.
i dont need to prove i care for anyone else, i just want to do this one thing for me.
hell, its probably a good thing i dont have a car or else id be living at that those places.

one more thing. i just thought of this literally 15 minutes ago, give or take. she had the DF rose on her calf. how strange would it be to also get one there? i did want to get the df rose at some point, i'm just not sure how weird it would be to get it in the same spot, kind of like in memoriam.
i cant see this from an outsider's perspective so i cant tell how weird it may or may not be.
