Well that was F*cking horrible. My upstairs apartment felt like an oven and my kid could barely sleep in this heat. Oh and as for water, nothing like warm water to cool you down under a heat advisory! There was no ice and the gas stations had lines a mile long, and some only to find out that there wasn't any left. At least my car had ac. I felt bad for the people driving around with there windows down. 3 days of pure hell. Received ice and water from the red cross on Monday. That night the power on our street came back on. There are still many people without power. I'm so happy we have AC again! We are lucky.
