so...i don't know how it happened, but i noticed last weekend that my favorite pair of jeans, EVER have a tear in them. in the middle of the fabric, not on a seam. i have no idea how it happened...it's like on the inside my right thigh...like i said, i have no idea how it happened...believe me, i've thought about it. so i resolved to go and buy the exact same pair of jeans to replace them. but i can't throw away my old pair...they're so comfy and worn and stuff....if the rip was on the knee or something, i would sew it up or put a cute patch (i know...patches are never cute, but i would find somehting not-ugle...) on it or something, but the rip has to be in the most awkward place ever. yeah. it's hard to get rid of them, so i'm just going to keep them wround for a while...i'm very emotionally attatched to them.

THE WALL. so. the elementary school i went to had been open a really long time ago, but then closed, and re-opened. the year i was in first grade was the year it re-opened, so to do something cool to celebrate the re-opening, they had a bunch of us put handprints onto tiles to put on a wall in the front of the school. and this week they tore it down. all of the parents of kids who had stuff on there are flipping shits. the tiles are all cracjed and shit. they didn't even try to save them. so it sucks. big time. it's like the demolished a bunch of memories. a parent went down to the school and talked to the principal about it, and the principal said that if we wanted, we could go and do new handprints. WHAT THE FUCK. yeah right. like i want to go and put my handprint in the wall now. it's something i did ten years ago...how could my sixteen-year-old self go down and try to re-create something that embodies a time and a place that no longer exists? i can't. not to mention that most of the kids that put their handprints in the wall are now in college.

and know why they had to tear it down?! to put in a fucking portable. srsly?! it's an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. there's empty playgourn dspace EVERYWHERE that they could have installed the portable. but instread they decided to tear down this one irreplaceble wall.

anyway, i'm really sad about that.

and in other news...KLAXONS RULE. really, they're great.
