According to my dear sister, my mom recently confided in my super religious aunt about me moving back to Dallas. (I originally went back to Houston to live at home for the summer, but it sucked balls so now I'm back.)

Apparently, because I have taken the opportunity to live on my own, and because I am a notorious atheist, I am extremely susceptible to the dangerous influences of...."gangs and lesbians."

No, this woman is not 80 years old. She has teenaged children. And a brilliant, sweet daughter who is going to UT next year and deserves every happiness, but is going to live with an old widow off-campus instead of rooming with my little sister in a dorm. Because her mom is crazy.

    I am frequently told similar things for being a notorious... user of hair dye. Why dying hair/being an atheist is equated with crime and so called "dubious sexual practices" is beyond me. This is messed up stuff, but I guess this is how people tend to be.
