Damn Sunglasses

I have stories. So I went shopping with my cousin so that we could get her some makeup for her wedding. Basically, she looked at things, made me pick everything out and then agreed to whatever I picked. Apparently I'm her makeup artist for the event. We got some really nice colors though. Very earthy and autumnish. Which is good since it's a fall wedding.

While there, I got some new eyeshadow. (Yes, again) So now I have a red collection, a purple collection, a blue collection, half a green collection and the lonely silver. I also sprang for the sunglasses I've been drooling over for the past two months or so. Armani. So I was quite proud of myself, owning them, and wore them to work the next day. And promptly lost them.

Let me tell you, I was PISSED. I called work and asked if anyone had found them, tore my car apart and generally despaired for a day or so, lamenting the fact that I apparently wasn't allowed to own nice things. However, my faith in the universe was restored the next day when I went to work and found them laying, nestled really, upright and perfectly find, in the grass right in front of where I usually park. I may have done a happy dance. Davey understood my pain and sympathised, expressing his relief at their return.

I saw The Dark Knight. It. Was. Awesome. Heath Ledger is totally getting an oscar. There wasn't a trace of him in that movie. He WAS the Joker. He didn't speak like Heath, didn't moved like him... He even developed habitual ticks and expressions that he kept through the whole movie. Someone told me that they'd heard he was on medication for depression and the like because he had trouble turning the character off. I believe it. If that's true, I guess it could be said that the role killed him. His performance just reinforced how talented he was. Amazing.

I also saw Hellboy II: the Golden Army. It was good. I didn't like how Abe's personality changed, but it was still a good movie. Prince Nuada is freakin' hot. I'd molest him. And he's a twin so that's even hotter. Ever his sister is hot. Win-win situation. Go see the movies. You'll be glad you did.

I checked out a new organic food store that opened in Liverpool. It's a bit over priced and really not as big as I was expecting. The organic food store in Rochester is so much better. I'm in love with it. If I can ever get up to see Kat again, I'll be going there.

Speaking of going to see Kat, I'm going to try to get up there this next weekend. I want to get my ears stretched up and get a bit of new ink. I need to get the xVx for my year anniversary. I almost can't believe it's been that long. I'm quite proud of the accomplishment.

Nichole's last day at work is tomorrow. I'm going to miss her terribly. She made my days go quicker. I applied for another job, but I haven't heard anything yet.

I bought the first season of LA Ink the other day. I don't get to see the show itself since it's on cable and I have none. It's quite good. And all of the woman running around with tons of tattoos make me happy. And most of said girls are quite nice to look at as well. A bit too perfect on the shape department, and a bit spoiled, but pretty. I guess no one can be totally perfect, ne?

I think that about catches me up. My nails are gunmetal grey. Despite how it sounds, it's quite a rad color. Very hardcore. It'd be an awesome club color. I'm going to keep that in mind.

Ink me, baby!
