How upset I am right now.

I was on my way to temple with my mom and we're driving down the street behind this car, and the car is going really slow and my mom and I go around it. all of a sudden, we're driving and from behind us comes a car flying down the road and it goes to make an illegal u-turn and drives up onto the curb after making this so called u-turn and crashes at about 60 mph into a tree and rickochets back onto the street.

an image to show you kinda what happened, the green is where his car was going and the red is where it hit.

We pull over as quickly as possible and I see the drivers arm hanging out of the car and its flailing all over the place. At first I thought he was just waving at us to go along that he was ok, but I looked at it and I was like "there is NO way in hell's kitchen that man is ok, I saw the whole accident, that impact had to have done some hardcore damage."

He was seizuring and had started seizing, lost control of the car floored the gas and turned the wheel.

We ran over to the car, the passanger who appeared to be his wife was walking around on the grass gasping for air and crying and holding her arm and bleeding all over the place.

Neither of them spoke any engish. Thank God some guy stopped who spoke some spanish. I spent like 10 minutes trying to get someone to answer the phone at 911, but when you call 911 from a cell phone it goes to the CHP and not to emergency and someone picked up the guy was still seizuring, it was so scary!

finally 2 fire trucks, 2 ambulances and about 10 cop cars along with a k-9 unit and a crime scene investigator unit all came and the guy had finally stopped seizing after like at least 5 minutes, it was probably more.

They had to use the jaws of life to get the man out of the car. The car was totaled, well, it was beyond totaled.

I feel so bad for them. They're here in a strange country where they don't speak the language and they've had a traumatic experience where they don't understand whats going on. It has to be hard on them.

My mom and I finally left about after an hour and went on to temple where they had already started.

There's a prayer that we do thats directed towards people in need of a prayer and healing, and we can stand up and say people's names that we're praying for. And I stood up and gave a short run down of the story.

I really do pray for them, and hope that everything turns out ok.

and that they have family to help them through this difficult time.

Holy fuck, Jenn. That is horrible. I saw an accident a few months ago, but it was nothing to that extent. I'd be super freaked out and I wouldn't know what to do.

Oh, man. I'm so sorry, Beej. I witnessed a small crash once. The car was totaled but everyone was alright, just a couple scratches. It was pretty fucking horrifying, and it wasn't nearly as bad as this. I hope the people are okay.
