I said something pretty stupid to my best friend today and offended him. He was pretty irate and we haven't usually ever gotten angry with each other even after knowing each other four and a half years. I guess the friendship seems to be dying out anyway. He doesn't share anything with me really and I share stuff that's important to me (or had been).

I realize we live on opposite sides of the country right now and aren't likely to be meeting in person too often. He doesn't consider me to be his best friend either, just I have considered him to be mine, so it shouldn't be a surprise. Oh well, I hope he'll not be angry at least and we can sever the friendship amicably.
