Some of the things I have heard in the past 24 hours have been absolutely moronic.
I'm trying to stay neutral in this whole election fiasco but this is getting ridiculous.
I think people are just really excited. I like that he addressed this in his speech last night by focusing on a somber mood and talking about all the things that need attention and hard work.
No, he is not a God.
But he's better than McCain! ^^
No-one and nothing are perfect. Obama certainly is not a God, and anyone who thinks he's perfect or some savior, then they are getting very carried away with it all.
People do have a right to be excited, though, and if someone gives people optimism, it's about time Americans felt some optimism or felt something rather than apathy.
No matter how you look at it, people voted in record numbers this time because they actually did care. That's the amazing part. Staying neutral is great. Being apathetic--not so great.
