cafftastic!

Holyfuckingshit. It was amazing. I got to see all the bands I wanted to, and it was just unbelievable.

The Exiles were first, and motherfucker Sean is a sexy bastard. I met them all afterwards and got a photo with Sean, which I look fucking stoked as in. Which I was. Hahah, we were just chatting in the signing tent, then before the photo he goes "I'll do my rockstar face for the photo, ae babe?" KAY! And he did, and he is sexy. Really his rockstar face is just... not smiling or anything, but he's such a sexy.

After their gig and signing I went to the VMUSIC tent and had a question answer session with them, then got professional photos taken with 'em. Man it was awesome. Plus they played one of their songs acoustically, which was such a contrast to the normal version. No synth, no trippy guitar or anything. It was wonderful.

Umm.. I saw my history sub Mr Dann(who was also at Smashing Pumpkins/QOTSA gig) there, and he was dressed thre same as Ed Muzik. Which was odd, until I realised he was related to Ed Muzik. Actually, that kind of made it weirder, because I would of seen him at Soundday back in Jan too then haha. Straaaange.

I saw some of Gyroscope, they were pretty good. I caught some Tiki Taane, which I was stoked as shit about. I almost threw up at one point watching him though, so had to leave. I also saw.. some Seether, some Dandy Warhols, Tiger Tones, and Clap, Clap, RIOT! They were all pretty good.

But the best, well second best to The Exiles, was The Potbellez. Ohmygod. I was right at the front, and I got to sing into the mic during "Are You With Me?" and the singer was just plain fuckin sexy. He wore a velvet suit jacket and tight jeans, no top under the suit jacket, and he had some amazing hips. Once they finished they got down between the barrier and shook hands with everyone. I hugged the shit out of him, and asked for a photo. Which he agreed to, Amy took froever grabbing her camera, but he hung around. They also gave me a Ministry of Sound CD, and the singer called me sexy. Hah, awesome as it was, I couldn't help but think "Yeah, I'm probably half your age." Mehhe, whatever. Sweaty man in a velvet jacket with nice hips and a voice like his? Taken.

I got invited to the after party too, but by the end of the night everyone else was too wasted to go, and it was R18. A bit lame, but whatever. I met everyone I wanted to, bar Tiki but I've met him before, and some. So really, I think I kicked everybody's ass.

Once my computer decides to fucking register the piece of shit camera, I'm going to put all my photos (a good 250, and mainly all of The Exiles♥ heh) onto a photobucket account so you can be jealous summore. Ahaha, seriously, even for those of you who don't know what Southern Amp is, or any of the bands I saw, once you see the sexy people I met - you will be jealous. Haha.
