aRE yOu afraId of thE DarK?

My cat, Sheba, a.k.a. Sheeb, Sheebz, Babeepster, Beast, Chubby, Chubster the Cat, and other nicknames of the sort, got euthanized today.

She had a cancerous tumor on her bladder, and it was causing her pain to "relieve herself" and she vomited often, so we felt that at the ripe age of nineteen, it was time to let her go.

She was a quirky cat who literally couldn't meow "normally," and was pretty stingy for the most part, but purred louder than any cat I've met. Fortunately, in later years, she grew to like me and basically become a hermit to my bedroom.

She always had a special hour at about 5 in the morning when she would go to the litterbox, scrape around the box, and then CHARGE out of the bathroom like no tomorrow and just meow. She'd run back and forth and then suddenly stop. To this day, no one knows why she did, but she did.

Sheba, I hope you come back in another life. You will be missed, ya old cat ya, making me cry like a blubbering fool. Don't forget to write.
