I think it is neat.

I doubly appreciate the fact that once a category is closed, it stays that way.

An easily accessible way to return to the portal from the forums would be handy. Possibly the far-left of the VB menu control. If space is an issue, Guidelines & Help is a bit dusty.

Click the main AFI/DF banner at the top. Should take you to the portal. Not sure if I'd like to request a more obvious way to access the forums from the new home page... it won't matter in two weeks when it's second nature but I was just really confused how to when it changed over.

Looking at it now it's kind of logical where the link is... but I generally don't look at the clutter parts when looking for a main item link.

Sweeeeeeet. This is awesome. So far I'm not seeing any issues with it.

That said, either the page just went wacky on me or my laptop went funky for a second. I blame my laptop unless it happens again. You know how when you scroll up and down a page faster than your computer can keep up with, it keeps doing it until it's caught up? Kinda like that, except way faster.

I really like it, but I do think that whatever you click to get to the board should be bigger/easier to see. It took me a while to find it.
