They play all of the technical stuff flawlessly. One of the few bands I've seen who can reproduce that kind of stuff as well live as they do in the studio (another being Opeth).

Tonight was such a great show! The crowd was probably the best crowd I've ever been apart of! AND THEY PLAYED "WITHOUT LOVE" FOR THE FIRST TIME!

    Supporting Cast(e)
    Tertium
    Banger's Embrace
    ...And We Thought
    Rio De San
    Die Jugend Marschiert
    Less Talk, More Rock
    A Speculative Fiction
    Bringer of Greater Things
    Haillie Sellasse
    Back to the Motor League
    Human(e) Meat
    Mate Ka Moris
    Without Love
    Anti-Manifesto

    Encore:
    Dear Coach's Corner
    Purina

I'm sure some of those are out of order.
"I will chat with you! Endless...ly."
    "That's what she said!"

Y'know, finding out that Potemkin City Limits is about an anthropomorphised pig has really kind of spoiled that song for me. I still think it's great, but I can't help but think it's kind of ridiculous - even moreso than Human(e) Meat, where I can at least see the argument they're making. Same goes for that part in Without Love where he sings about giving up his life for his dying cat. I get that animal rights is their thing, but it just makes me think Chris is kind of a nut job.

Pfft, it's a great story and a great song. Not many people can write a song about a pig and make it work the way they do.

I won't argue that Chris a little nuts, but that's part of what makes his songwriting so interesting, I think.

Yeah, it's still a great song and I do like the story. I dunno, I guess I just find the tone odd? It's so serious and all. I guess if I didn't know these guys were big on their animal rights and stuff I'd probably think nothing of it. I dunno, they're still fab songs, I just find it... weird?

Maybe you'd relate to it more if Francis was a sheep?
