New Found Glory - Not Without A Fight

Came out a couple weeks ago. I've listened to it a few times and I enjoy it quite a bit, not sure where I'd rank it among their discography, though. It's a fun album like I expected.

    Anyone else digging this?

I remember seeing the video for one of the new songs and it didn't click at first. I saw the acronym NFG and thought "No Fucking Good, Huh?" And then I realized who it was and was excited to know they had a new album coming out...
I really need to check it out. I really like NFG, though their compilations (From the Screen to Your Stereo II) were not that great... Hopefully this is as catchy as I think it is.

Yeah, I didn't like it that much. The EP/split they released last year was really good, though. I loved their cover of "Cut The Tension." This album is pretty damn solid as well.

Wow, this is a very pleasant surprise. I had low expections, because Catalyst was kinda "meh," and Coming Home was lame. This is a great balance, though. It's a bit more mature, but it's still fun and ridiculously catchy like their old stuff.

    Disappointing after the EP/Split.
We're going to get a little sort of a session going. A session that will feature the rhythm section.

I have to disagree there. "47", "Truck Stop Blues", and "Such A Mess" are better than three original songs on that EP. I liked the EP, but some of the hardcore elements they added sounded out of place instead of the subtle way they usually incorporate them into their pop-punk. Keep in mind I'm only referring to the original songs. The Shelter were Lifetime covers are great.
