I really love the Sing the Sorrow look. The long hair was beautiful.

I discovered him with the STS look, and I thought he was beautiful. I sometimes would get made fun of for liking a guy with girl-length hair...but I didn't really care. But I think I've grown up since then and matured...and Davey's look has matured and I really appreciate the Crash Love hair. I'd have to say that this is the best so far.
Don't get me wrong, I like him with make-up, mohawks, devil-locks, you name it. I'm fond of it all.

Despite the fact that I didn't see AFI on the DU tour, I definitely agree that Davey looks way skinnier than how he did in interviews/photos/IHAV back then. But that's a good thing, he looks extra amazing!

Hmm well I think it was maybe the whole shut your mouth era but like he had some mini type of dreads going on. Like this awesome spider of blond and black in his hair. I thought it totally brought out all the aggression in that album. I only saw this one maybe one or 2 videos but yeah i hope it was there for awhile.

I am really not a fan of the scruffiness, I wish I could have seen them during the era of the black lipstick. For some reason that seemed to be a really expressive part of his aesthetic. My favorite by far is the DU look, because it was really creative. The thing I am really enjoying now, even though I mentioned liking him in makeup, is that he has ditched the made up look so there is less hiding his expressions when he performs. I admire anyone that can transform the way they feel into the way they look and who is true to themselves and he has always done those things.
