All I'm seeing is that it started as a tumblr post and the author recanted the statement. I would like to read more about this. I had no idea there were rape accusations

Knew about the assault, but there is nothing on the rape. Only blogs talking about how she's an asshole and how she allegedly raped women. If you can point me to actual articles rather than blogs then I'll be happy to read them, but I can't trust what some guy says on the internet.
Either way, Against Me sucks and will probably continue to suck.
anyway, though, I just wanted to get back in here and say that while I dislike Laura as an artist and think she's probably guilty of some pretty heinous stuff, the negative shit getting said about transgender people in this thread is deeply and profoundly fucked up. if you think we as humans should stay the way we are born, stop cutting your hair right now. also, stop trimming your toenails and bathing.

I believe the rape stuff was started on tumblr only after Laura came out. That's not to say I'm 100% positive it's false, but it is pretty fishy that nobody said any of that stuff until the day she came out.
