When can we sugn up to the DF again????

Of course, I love Crash Love a ton! No they don't need to give us a mystery, wasn't implying that. There was a lotta buzz for it and a few things but no videos no clues no nothing. Look back at a few of the posts from the time periods of all that. This place was exploding. Many people, such as myself, fell in love with AFI out of the admiration of Daveny's brain and the cryptic and creepy mysteries. The fact that there's no real reason for us to get on here and conspire together in trying to figure it all out is a huge part in the ghost town known as the DF. True story.

I would strongly disagree. I think the "lack of mystery" is a very VERY small part of why activity has decreased on here. I think the reason for us to get on here is to show our love for this band and the music, not to solve a mystery that was created by ALL of the band and not just Davey.

Yes.

It does make me very sad that it's closed because it feels as if they don't believe it's needed anymore. And I know AFI aren't perhaps as big now (?), but so many people love them.

Why? All you get is a box with some stuff in it. There's no DF only updates, the band doesn't come here any more, and UTR is completely gone. Save your money, buy yourself something useful.

Hah yeah. I suspect it's down because they know they don't have the time or resources to deliver the kind of perks that used to come with being in the DF.

Also, the Clandestine/STS mystery was relevant because STS/that whole era was based around a single concept. It was cool, but I doubt very much they have plans for anything like that in the future.

Registration went down before CL came out, I don't think it's going to come back.

DF lines still exist though, but not at every show.
I'd say it's worth buying so you don't have to go through the frustration of being the first one in line 16 hours before the show and then having half the line get in before you because they're DF.
