Good morning, afternoon, and evening all,

My name is Kira, and I'm new to the DF forums but not to AFI. I've been a fan since 2003 when I caught the "The Leaving Song Pt. II" music video on Fuse TV. I don't know why it never occurred to me to make a membership here. Anyway, I am here now, and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to connect to the lovely AFI family.

I'm a recent college graduate in creative writing and Japanese. And if you're wondering about the post title, it's Old English, which I had the pleasure of studying for a term. I'm not the most outgoing person (people-interactive wise), but I do have a pretty eccentric make-up style and zany creativity. I absolutely love listening to music, mainly rock (and all that entails), plus I love foreign music, like Asian rock and pop or Finnish metal. I've been sXe since '05 and vegetarian since '07 (with the exception of a month or so break earlier this year). ....I think that's all the important stuff.

Compared to the generic cut-and-paste introductions some people seem to leave, your post was truly fascinating, and I'm envious of your having studied Old English. The lovely AFI family has temporarily died out, I am sorry to say, as there's been no real news since 2010. But as soon as something happens, here and other places involving them will surely be bustling, and you'll get a sense of what it's like (as will I). Major props for sXe and vegetarian, by the way! Judging by your post, I think you'll feel perfectly at home.
