A girl randomly complimented my afi shirt, and said they rocked, while I was camping. Then I saw a guy wearing an STS jacket at my school. I hardly ever see other fans where I live, so it’s very weird.

A year or two ago, I was at this zombie workshop (learning how to do zombie makeup and wardrobe for the zombie walk which is where everyone dresses up as the undead and parades down the street.) There was such an awesome group of people there, but I noticed this one girl who had an amazing deathhawk and and equally lovely outfit too. And among her array of tattoos, I noticed the Nephilim bat on her upper arm. I later found out that she's a local alternative model.
One time at my old job a customer recognized my tattoo.
Also, a few days ago there was some event going on at my school, so i was just going around taking candy from all the stands (lol) and this older lady called out "AFI" cause of my shirt. She was like "I like them!" It was cool hahaha
The cashier at Ralphs told me how she went to a signing a few years ago because she saw my shirt. it was pretty cool.

One of these days I'm going to stop being lazy and give myself an avatar. Seriously.
Actually at the gas station on Saturday. Gave the guy my money to pre-pay on gas, I walk away and he notices I have a Blaqk Audio hoodie on. He shows me a Nephilim bat on his hand, which I thought was pretty badass of him to say "Hey, you're a fan... I'm a fan, too... just wanted to let you know!" Quickly showed him the Heart Bat on top of my wrist, told him I have the STS cover logo on my upper arm, and the Angel with the open wrist on the inside of my right bicep. Then told him to have a good day. Cool guy.
Real cool to know you're not the only one around along with your friends that like AFI in your area.
costco, she was giving samples and her helper saw my wristband and thought it was american film institute.

At McDonald's, I went inside to pick up an orange juice for my younger brother and the women who gave my order was wearing a Decemberunderground sweatshirt. We chatted for a bit and she gave me the juice for free!
This one time I was working on an essay at Starbucks, and this guy noticed the BSITS wallpaper on my laptop and mentioned that he used to be in a band that toured with AFI VPOY era (Backside Disaster), so I guess that counts. It was pretty great.
