If you listen, listen close...

I swear! I listened to Now the World backwards-
In the beginning, I heard "If you listen closely...", I can't decipher after that.

About 1/3 of the way through, I hear, repeating, "And I've died for you."

about 40% way through, I heard "Everyone cries."

In This Time Imperfect-
As the singing comes in- "I wish, I'm not so sure"

55% through- "Dreams are.." Cant tell the rest..

A little past that- "There's more and I realize that" (Repeats)

at about 4:42 (in backwards time) it has a voice, like the famous "The answer is seven" that says something.. I can't tell what..

Then, the 'The answer is seven" part, I heard- "[Something], the answer is..."

I will post more as I hear.. Remember, I just post what I hear, don't negatively comment, please.

If you make it a wav file you can use Windows sound recorder. I would recomment slowing down the speed (also possible with window sound recorder) to dechiper what is being heard.

you can make out tonnes of stuff that isn't there in any song when played backwards. This topic suggests that AFI don't write good songs (mainly lyrics) because if you are meant to play it backwards, then the lyrics are made to fit something that sounds normal played backwards. I think AFI have more love for their music than that.

I think it's all just a coincidence. I doubt that AFI did that intentionally. Like Ixnay said, AFI has more love for their music than to cheapen it by making a song that's meant to be heard backwards.

Think, a song sounds beautiful fowards, and has a geniousley hidden message backwards, it is truly brilliant.

I think there is a great chance that there is backwards messages.. They tell us to listen close.. What better place to put it? Always almost impossible to hear, it would ensure that the information is heard by only a few..
