Next: Tool tonight in San Antonio! Woohoo!
Just saw Tool in San Antonio on Monday... fucking hell that was amazing. The opening bands SUUUUUCKED... but Tool more than made up for it... they have, quite possibly, the greatest stage show I've ever seen... projectors and lights and lazers... just everywhere... I think the "haziness" of the room was getting to me about an hour into it... the playing was flawless and Maynard was spectacularly off radar as usual (he sang in the back near the drummer the whole time), but he did that whole low-crouched head banging thing he does and it was fucking AWESOME!

next show: tapes n' tapes (tonight, actually)
next show after that: bonnaroo, possibly the violent femmes a few days before

GIAN - AFI were amazing! I was supposed to go to this sort of meet and greet signing thing for BFMV today but they just sold out and I'm ill anyway

How about the last concert I didn't attend, and the next one that I won't be at? Skinny Puppy and Front Line Assembly, last night and tonight, respectively. Dammit.
But, the rest of the year doesn't look like it'll suck too much:
Lacunca Coil and Within Temptation on Thursday (hopefully the sound engineer is more competent this time around);
Nekromantix in June; Amon Amarth in July; Combichrist in August; Epica and Visions of Atlantis in September; Finntroll in October and Nightwish in November.
