Also, I listened to Feedbacker and you were certainly right in the Floyd comparisons. It's pretty hot. I currently have a lot of Boris to get through hehe. Their back-catalogue is now basically on my christmas list to myself.

For seriously. I think that Thee Metalheads Ov Despair, are like the fucking focal point of metal on the interweb. Other boards have their focii, their metal of choice, but we're the fucking nexus. The black void into which knowledge of good metal unavoidably flows towards, drawn to our fantastic level of grimmness, kvltage, and various other forms of acceptable metal cred.

I never really liked metal boards, but for some reason I always liked when metal gets talked about on non-metal boards. But really, I wouldn't actually call myself a metal head, it's hardly the only thing I listen to, I actually listen goth/punk/deathrock more these days, I actually have to be in the mood for metal, I haven't been in said mood for a while though. Last week I listened to a bit because I picked up a few cds cheap, but then I went back to deathrock stuff. And I don't look like a metalhead at all, aside from occasionally wearing a black metal shirt. But I know that oneday I will just get the urge to bust out some Branikald or something I'll probably listen to nothing but metal for weeks.

Most metal boards have too many idiots on them. The type of people who listen to metal not because they know anything about music but because they want to give themselves a hardass image. Like, toughguy douches who call you gay if you say you like AFI.

Even when I mentioned Converge on the 1 or 2 metal boards I posted a couple times on, I got jumped on.

I really want to get the Sounds of the Animal Kingdom remaster, it has Kill Trend Suicide on it as well. I'm kinda ticked they didn't toss on any of the Kill Trend Suicide Japanese bonus tracks though, it's been impossible trying to hunt those down.
