Well, last thursday night I decided to join the Despair Faction. After waiting years and finally having the extra cash, I knew it was time. Of course, AOL had to screw it up for me. I guess Cinder Block and AOL are not compatible with each other. After waiting about an hour for Mozilla Firefox to download so I could use an acceptable browser, I decided to try again. And of course, my user name, AdespairFactorI, has been taken. So, I try my other name that works and go through the whole process.. My credit card's billing address is wrong, of course, and Cinder Block puts a hold on my credit card. It says to call the customer service line, but it's like 3:00 am, so I wait until Friday.
Friday, I call Cinder Block, and of course their whole customer service is down.. call back TUESDAY. Tuesday rolls around and I call back, and the lady told me the charge should disappear in 48 hours and I should just try to order again. Not wanting to be charged twice, I waited for the hold to go away.
Finally, it's thursday, my card has been credited and decide, once again to try and join. Of course, idiot me, uses AOL and it screws me up once again. By now my three clever AFI names are used up and I spent about an hour typing in random lyrics that of course were already taken as user names. Well, I finally found a name that worked and finalized my order and soon I will be an official member of the Despair Faction that I've waited so long to be a part of.
Thought I'd share my story because it's been a stressful week. I don't know if anyone else has had this many problems trying to join.
